[These pages are addressed to all Hellenes but mainly to the Hellenes of
Rizokarpaso, young and old. As far as the young ones who were not blessed with the
happiness to be born on that Land of Promise are concerned, that they may walk that land
and live there. As far as the old people of Rizokarpaso who had lived there, are
concerned, that these pages may renew their memory until the long yearned for day of
return. These pages contain commentaries and pictures as well as documentary messages
describing the days immediately after the invasion. My goal and endeavour is that these
pages are constantly brought up to date with new material, new pictures as well as
retrospective ones, especially school photos so that many adults can recognize themselves
in them. Surely you will find mistakes, omissions and a few inexactitudes. As the creator
of this web page, All people from Rizokarpaso who have pictures from before the
invasion and want them to be included in our pages are kindly asked to send them via this
e-mail so that we may publicize them.]
